Mission to Mars
This Mission requires students to work in teams to use their problem solving skills to successfully complete a geological survey of the Mars surface!
Mission 1 – Students, dressed as astronauts, enter the Mars surface to execute their research assignments.
Mission 2 – Students, as mission controllers, guide the astronauts to effectively execute their research assignments.
Students participate in both Missions.
Laboratory Research – All students, as scientists, analyse their samples and research and undertake investigations in a custom STEM Studio.

Mission to Mars is designed to meet the curriculum through differentiated programs for students in Years 5-12.

Things to note:
Mission to Mars in a full day immersive experience, allowing for travel time to and from the Centre. E.g. Class for a full day 9:30/10:00am – 2:00pm
Mission to Mars requires two adults to attend to accompany students.
Mission to Mars caters for a class of 32 students.
As a guide Minimum: 16 students Maximum: 32 students
If you have custom group numbers or would like to bring more than once class on a day, please contact us to discuss possible customised learning experiences.

LIGHTING WARNING: During this excursion, students will be exposed to theatrical lighting effects. Please indicate if any of your students are susceptible, so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
Pre-filled Excursion documents, and pre and post learning activities will be supplied upon Booking Confirmation.

Mission To Mars
This Mission requires students to use their problem solving skills to successfully complete a geological survey of the Mars surface! Students actively participate as astronauts, mission controllers and research scientists to successfully complete the scientific mission.

Plants in Space
This Mission requires students to use their team-work and problem solving skills to successfully complete a space inquiry. Students actively participate in a current research scenario, with a focus on answering key questions about selecting the best plants for space to successfully complete the inquiry mission.

Cyber Security
This Mission requires students to use their team work and problem solving skills to successfully solve a contemporary cyber security issue. Students will actively participate in an ethical hacking scenario, applying security concepts, with opportunities to develop cryptography, programming, digital forensics and reverse engineering skills to successfully solve the issue.
